Too Cool for School

My school is really posh and in London so its uniform rules are really strict. They have nothing against makeup, but you don't want to look like you're trying to hard.

Even if your school has strict cosmetic rules there a few easy fixes which really help to enhance your beauty.

1. Clear Mascara: For eyelashes and eyebrows.
2. Tinted or nude lipstick/lip liner/lip balm/lip gloss.
3. Pale blusher to add some warmth to your face.
4. Pale eyeshadow, matte or metallic. Be really careful not to pack it on.
5. Concealer. This is an absolute lifesaver. It can cover blemishes and red patches and doesn't look as thick as concealer.
6. If you feel like adding a finishing touch you may want to put on a little silver eyeliner to brighten your eyes.

When getting your school uniform try to get stuff that fits well. If that isn't possible (in my case my mum wanted to save money on uniform and got stuff that would last) you can do several things.

1. Tuck in your shirt, it makes it stick to your figure and flatters you body shape.
2. Roll up your cuffs.
3. Tighten to elastic on your bottoms or get a belt.
4. Get fishnet or lace or long socks.

If your school is really strict you can use your hair as an outlet. Use colourful hair bands, ties and elastics. If your school doesn't like jewellery then you can use them as bracelets. You can curl your hair, straighten it and plait it. Whatever takes your fancy.

Another way to accessorise is with earrings. You can get loss of different studs and colours. Just make sure you have a case to put them in and loads of spare backs.

Then you can pick a backpack that is both stylish and practical. Or you can put loads of key rings and badges on your school branded bag.

Decorating planners and books is another option that most people may think looks tacky, but it can add a lot of class to your books.

You can get some really nice sports bags, such as the ones from Victoria secret. Also keep some deodorant to stick in your bag.

is it me or does anyone else find summer holidays boring. It's great when you go on holiday but when you spend four weeks at home with nothing to do it gets quite boring.

Anyway hope this helped with your back to school plans.

Ambitions and Attainable Ambitions

As humans we all go through a phrase at at least one point in our lives. At the moment I am going through several, most of them embarrassing, but because this is anonymous (and I'm pretty sure nobody reads it) I will share them with you.

My Current Phases:

  • Dip dying or highlighting my hair in blond with an ashy tone.
  • Disney Channel (sorry I know it's soooo dorky).
  • Being too organised with my getting back to school stuff, binders, filing folders, e.c.t....
  • Blogging (obviously).
  • Gymnastics.
  • Learning a new language (Spanish in my case).
Some of your ambitions (phrases) are temporary and some are for life. Pursue them as much as possible to try and live a fulfilled life.

Some of them are probably impossible or prohibited by your parents, so try respect that because at the end of the day they pay for your birthday present.

This blog is very short, sorry about that but I'm not really sure what else I could write.

My last blog was slightly more personal, a fight with my siblings. If anyone reads this please tell me if you liked it or not, that would be really appreciated.

The comments are set so that you don't need a gmail account to comment.
