Break ups and Shake ups

First day of primary school, close your eyes and imagine your four year old self. Sit up and stretch out yawning. Packing your bag with everything you definitely don't need for school and walking with your mum into your class room.

Break time...

"Hello, my name is Red, can we be friends?"

That is exactly how I got my best friend for the next 7 years (I'm pretty sure you will have similar scenarios).

We were inseparable for years.

Now I haven't seen her in 3 months and we live on the same road, our parents are best friends and our siblings go to the same school.

When doing exams for secondary school we split and I don't think we'll ever come close to feeling as we did again.

We haven't changed much but it's the little things that separate us.

Is this normal?

If you have ever had anything like this please share it in the comments below and give me some advice.

She is the same person:

Same hobbies
Same habits
Same appearance

And yet I feel as if I'm talking to a completely different person and we don't connect anymore.
I have tried reaching out to her but she doesn't respond,

Blogging off xx
